You might heard some influencers or Instagram celebrities posted a picture with this caption while ironically the makeup and hair are properly done. It’s quite a silly phenomenon that made us challenge this client of ours for their family photoshoot concept.

What if we capture the “just woke up” version of you without any makeup and hairdo for the bedroom session?

Without any second thought, they said yes.

We believe that the bedroom is the most personal space a family could have. Can you imagine the awkwardness we felt when we tried to capture them exactly on their bed? It felt kinda weird at first but thankfully this family is very kind to let us get into their personal space and capture these beautiful moments.

"From the beginning, we want to invite them to our home not as a photographer, but as a friend. In that way, there will be no boundaries between us"

Personal Space

We understand that family relationship is a very complicated thing with a lot of dynamics happening among each member. It is important to respect each other's boundaries and space to create harmony in the family. And here are Nady, Dewi, Gili, and Nada in their own element.

"For me, this session feels so effortless. We barely give them any concept or direction cause really, they ARE the concept."

What is a “home” exactly? A proverb says that it is where the heart is. it might be the best way to express our feelings when we capture this beautiful family, and putting all of our hearts into this session turned out to be a great decision indeed.
