The Story Behind

Been a long time since Hazel Studio and Owlsome started doing experimental works together. While pushing each other's creativity to the next level, we felt a mutual desire to create something beyond.

After countless hours of warm discussion, sharing, and constructive brainstorming, we learn to combine each other's idealism. And now, here is our present for you, our fellow creative minds. Let us introduce you, Mussé.

Concept

For this particular project, we chose Mussé to be the name of our newest studio. It has two meanings; museum and muse. A Museum-like gallery for creative minds to be able to feel, explore, and channel our imagination, so we could be our own inspiration. Our own Muse.

At Mussé, we hope that you could express your creativity more freely. Place your props as you like, combine different materials you never thought would work before, make Mussé your own art studio.

On 1st April 2022, Mussé opened for the first time. We did an experimental photo session with Ceu Miming, famously known as the Master of Ceremony. But, people rarely know that she was once a passionate traditional dancer too. She even went to Canada to perform Sundanese traditional dance when she was younger. She is indeed our muse.

In this photo session, we try to capture the transformation process of a traditional dance performance. From practicing the move, doing the rehearsal, until finally performing on the stage.

It was such a challenging photo session experience since it was a new thing for us. But once again, we were mesmerized by Ceu Miming's elegance and natural beauty which succesfully liven up the artsy vibes within Mussé.
